The SSC GD Constable recruitment process consists of the following stages:

Important Note
The Computer Based Examination (CBE) is the first screening stage. Candidates who qualify in CBE are called for the PET/PST. Only candidates who clear all stages are considered for final selection.

Important Exam Rules
- All questions carry equal marks (2 marks per question).
- There is negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
- Medium of examination will be in English and Hindi only.
- For Part D, candidates can choose either English or Hindi.
- The exam is of qualifying nature. Marks obtained in CBE will be normalized and used for final ranking.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Standards
Candidates who qualify in the CBE will be called for PET & PST. The PET standards for male and female candidates are as follows:
